  3. Staff developing new project based teaching and assessing.
A steep learning curve, we have found it difficult to push aside Unit standards and just concentrate on the project. Our ideas and thoughts are always migrating back to unit standards teaching.
The moodle site is still under construction, specifically we are still nailing down the layout. Sorting out how to minimise the ways to collect evidence. Hopefully resolved by Tuesday 14th Feb.

  4. Good discussion on the evidence gathering process for the project, keeping the collection as simple as possible, ie, students preform the calculations on a piece of timber so they just photograph it and then post on there diary, evidence done. pulled apart the joist asessments I put together, looking at the task analysis sheet moving it into the apprentice diary and some of the assessment activities to be moved to a blog instead.
debra and I looking at the diary and the format as how it will work.
